Re-plantation of Hand at Shija Hospital:

IMPHAL, Feb 14: For the 5th time, Shija Hospitals and Research Institute has successfully performed yet another surgery- replan-tation of hand on a patient whose left wrist was totally cut off at the joint.

Raising the demand to separate Phungyar Assembly Cons-tituency from Ukhrul dis- trict and to declare it as a separate district, the Dis-trict Demand Committee, Phungyar Constituency has decided to exert pre-ssure on the Government and submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister in this regard.

The District Demand Committee has also asserted that segregation of Phungyar Assembly Constituency from Ukhrul district headquarters and declaring it as the 10th district of Manipur is the collective aspiration of the people in the four sub-divisions of Phungyar Assembly Constituency.

The four sub-divisions under Phungyar Assembly Constituency are Phung-yar, Kamjong, Kasom Khullen and Sahamphung.
